Invitation to Quote The Board of Education of School District No.35 (Langley) (“SD35” or “District”) wishes to retain the services of a volumetric Modular Prefabricator contractor firm to work with the School District and its Design Team for two-story eight (8) classroom addition to Nicomekl Elementary School, located at 20050 53rd Ave., Langley. The modular contractor will be engaged via a CCDC17 - 2010 - Stipulated Price Contract Between Owner and Trade Contractor for Construction Management Projects. The addition is to be completed no later than Monday, August 18, 2025. This includes demobilization and completion of deficiencies. The addition must have occupancy approval from the local jurisdiction in time for the commencement of the school year, which is September 2, 2025. The modular contractor is to assist and work with the design team to modify the design to suit modular construction. The successful proponent is to show a separate cost to assist in the design phase, anticipate a minimum of 2 hours per week until October 31, 2025. A Construction Manager will form part of the project team. In the interest of time, the Construction Manager will be appointed at a later date. The Construction Manager will be chosen from the Langley School District pre-qualified list of Modular Construction Managers only.
