Real Estate Brokerage Services for Large Commercial Opportunities Summary DetailsThe District of Summerland (the “District”) is seeking prospective Respondents to submit non-binding Proposals for the provision of real estate brokerage services for large commercial opportunities. The District makes a variety of real estate transactions annually and will be looking at making strategic acquisitions and dispositions over the next several years. The District would like to have a real estate company under contract to draw on during any purchases or sales when assistance from a licensed realtor is deemed beneficial. A contract with predetermined commission terms will allow the District to act in a timely manner when pursuing or disposing of properties. The Supplier will be required to perform the services of a real estate broker acting on behalf of the District on an as-needed basis. The services will generally be related to large commercial opportunities, typically for properties valued at greater than $1,000,000, or where the target audience extends beyond the local or regional market. These opportunities may include, but are not limited to, opportunities that are commercial, industrial, agricultural, or resource-based in nature, and may also include residential and or mixed use development opportunities. An opportunity may consist of one lot or multiple lots.
