Hankinnan kohteena ovat vaihteenkääntölaitteet. Vaihteenkääntölaitteet hankitaan kokonais- tai yksikköhintaisena. Hankinnan tarkempi sisältö ja määrät ilmoitetaan jokaisen erillistoimeksiannon kilpailutusasiakirjoissa. Erillistoimeksiantokohtaisten tarjousten tulee perustua tarjouspyynnöissä annettuihin lähtötietoihin. Erillistoimeksianto voi sisältää yhden tai useampia vaihteenkääntölaitteita. Kilpailutusten ratkaisuperuste määritetään erillistoimeksiantokohtaisesti. Tulevissa erillistoimeksiannoissa valintaperusteena voi olla sekä kokonaistaloudellisesti halvin (hinta 100 %) tai kokonaistaloudellisesti edullisin hinta-laatu – suhde, jolloin hinnan ja laadun painotus esitetään erillistoimeksiantokohtaisesti.
