Kuljetuspalveluita voidaan kilpailuttaa myös erilllisinä urakoina tai muihin urakoihin sisältyvinä. Puitesopimuksien tarkoituksena on hankkia määräaikaisella sopimuksella kaikkia yllä mainittuja kuljetuspalveluita. Puitesopimuksissa voidaan käyttää hinta- ja laatupisteytykseen perustuvaa etusijajärjestystä. Yksittäisinä hankintoina tarkoitetaan erillisiä kuljetusurakoita, esim. tietyn maa-aineserän kuljettaminen pois rakennuskohteesta. Kuljetusurakoihin voi sisältyä myös konepalveluita (esim. maa-ainesten kuormaus). Kalustoa koskevat vaatimukset ja niiden luokittelut on esitetty liitteessä 2. Järjestelmässä on käytössä sähköinen luettelo, johon toimittajat täyttävät kalustotietonsa. Näitä kalustotietoja voidaan käyttää laatupisteytyksessä kilpailutuksien yhteydessä erikseen ilmoitettavalla tavalla. Osallistumishakemukseen tulee liittää täytetty kalustoluettelo sähköisenä luettelona. Sitä on jatkossa mahdollista päivittää omilla tunnuksilla hankintayksikön ilmoittaman järjestelmän kautta.
