Das Bauvorhaben bildet dadurch die zentrale Grundlage für die Ausübung der sportlichen Aktivitäten in den Sparten Tischtennis, Volleyball, Badminton, Turnen und Taekwondo. In der Turnsparte summieren sich alle Formen von Gesundheitssport, über Gymnastik, Kindersport, bis hin zum Tanz und Seniorensport. In den Wintermonaten ist zudem eine Nutzung der Halle auch für die Fußball- und Leichtathletiksparte erforderlich. Die bisherige 1,5 Feld Sporthalle soll im Anschluss an die Baumaßnahme abgerissen werden. Der Abriss ist nicht Teil dieser Ausschreibung. Der Standort befindet sich im Kernort Bispingen, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Kindergarten, Grund- und Oberschule, sowie zur evangelischen Kirchengemeinde und ist zentral zu erreichen.
