To Ensure the Offtake of Power at the Load Centers; Optcl Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (Optcl - the State-Owned Entity Responsible for Transmission of Electricity in the State of Odisha) is Considering Augmenting its Transmission Asset Base by Building Several Ehv Lines and New Substations in the Next Five Years. Optcl Wishes to Construct a 345-Circuit Kilometer 400 Kv D C Transmission Line from Narendrapur - Theruvali - Jeypore including the Capacity Expansion of the Existing Grid Substation at Theruvali to 400kv under the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (Tbcb) Regime through Private Sector Participation (“Project”). The Project has been Approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission; Government of India (Cerc). Ifc will be Engaged by Optcl to Structure a Sustainable and Bankable Project for the Construction; Operation; And Maintenance of the Project to be Done under Public Private Partnership Mode. Ifc-S Scope of Work Includes Detailed Technical; Legal; ES and Regulatory Due Diligence and Advise on a Bankable Transaction Structure and Bid Process Management.
