Requirements for Services 2.1 Service OverviewThis work involves the maintenance of a combustion test device installed in the power test room of the Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency's Naval Equipment Research Institute (Kurihama site). 2.2 Precautions for the Service Work(1) Compliance with relevant laws and regulationsWhen carrying out this work, the work must be carried out in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as the High Pressure Gas Safety Act, the Fire Service Act, and the Yokosuka City Fire Prevention Ordinance. (2) Restrictions on the use of fire and power toolsWhen using fire and power tools, keep them away from equipment that contains LPG, such as LPG cylinders and LPG pipes, by the distance specified by the High Pressure Gas Safety Act. (3) Safety measures for handling flammable high pressure gasThis work involves the maintenance of equipment that handles flammable high pressure gas, so the work must be supervised or carried out by a person who has one of the following qualifications.In addition, when handling flammable high pressure gas, the government must be contacted before carrying out the work and approval must be obtained before carrying out the work. If this is difficult, anti-rust measures should be implemented by painting or other methods. 2.3 Service details (1) Replacement of combustion test equipment parts Replace the parts shown in Table 1 of the combustion test equipment. When replacing, observe JLPA Standard 303 "Standards for Fire Prevention Equipment, etc." and JLPA Standard 304 "Maintenance Standards for Fire Prevention Equipment, etc." For numbers 2 to 5 in Table 1, the model numbers listed are used as the standard, but equivalent parts may be used after coordination with the government. (3) Inspection of equipment that uses LPG For equipment that uses LPG in the combustion test equipment, the inspection shown in Table 2 shall be carried out using the methods prescribed in the High Pressure Gas Safety Act, the High Pressure Gas Safety Institute standards, and the JLPA standards.
