Background and purpose of the assignment The organization operates a QuickBooks application used for financial reporting in the organization, the current setup was configured to use a specialized VPN. Remote working becomes extremely difficult each time the VPN is unavailable. The purpose of this assignment is to engage a consultant who will be responsible for migrating the QuickBooks from the current setup to a cloud platform preferably Citrix web space. Responsibilities i. Migrate the QuickBooks to a cloud platform preferably Citrix webspace server. ii. Configure the new setup in a secured manner that will not require the use of VPN to access the application. iii. The new application should be deployed in a way that will allow users access the server by not going through VPN, the app should be accessed over the internet without using VPN. iv. Daily incremental backup and weekly full backup. Backup should be configured to a third-party Cloud provider, like Azure. v. Setup a disaster recovery policy on the cloud on the cloud platform. 3. Required qualifications i. Should show strong understanding of the Citrx webspace, QuickBooks environments. ii. Provide evidence of similar job in the past. iii. Provide evidence of implementing Disaster recovery and backup configuration in the past. iv. Provide detailed steps and explanation that will be adopted to achieve this activity.
