Introduction RFQ FOR THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF SOLAR POWER SYSTEM AT POLICE TRAINING COLLEGE JOS,, PLATEAU STATE United Nations Development Programme, hereinafter referred to as UNDP  hereby invites prospective bidders to submit a Request for quotation for the SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF SOLAR POWER SYSTEM AT POLICE TRAINING COLLEGE JOS,, PLATEAU STATE SCOPE OF WORKS AND TECHNICALSPECIFICATION This document shall be read and understood in conjunction with the BoQ, and design drawings provided. The vendor shall consult the supervising Civil Engineer where clarification isrequired. 1.     GENERAL Section 2 “Instructions to Bidders” directs the contractor to the relevant informationnecessaryforpricingtheBills.Therefore, the text contained therein mustberead in conjunction with the measured items which shall be pricedaccordingly. It is assumed that the contractor's supervisory and estimating staff are fully conversant with the normal standards of good workmanship and relevant publications of trade and technical organizations. 1.1        Background This Scope of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for the supply and installation of solar power systems at the Police Training College in Jos  as part of the UNDP Police Reform Project. The solarization effort aims to provide sustainable, reliable, and clean energy solutions to key facilities within the training school, including the Admin Block , Loius Edet  Lecture Hall  , and the Library  . The project will involve the installation 10kVA solar systems with necessary accessories to ensure optimal functionality and longevity. 1.2        Location The Supply and Installation of Solar Power Systems will take place at the Police Training School Jos , Nigeria. The work will be conducted across several designated buildings and facilities within the Police Training Collage compound.
