The Local Government Unit of Santa Praxedes, Cagayan through its Supplemental Fund No.2 intends to apply the sum of Two Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Four Hundred Pesos. (P227,400.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for: Description Approved Budget for the Contract Construction Materials TOTAL P 227,400.00 Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The LGU now invites bids for the Supply and Delivery of Construction Materials for the Construction of Grouted Riprap Along Brgy Centro Dos Creek of Santa Praxedes, Cagayan. Delivery of the goods is required within 15 days upon issuance and acceptance of the Purchase Order/Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizen/sole proprietorship, partnerships, or corporations with at least Sixty Percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the LGU Bids and Awards Committee and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30AM to 4:00PM. 5.
