It provides the basis for forming an opinion on the fairness of financial statements, the effectiveness of internal controls, and the compliance with relevant regulations. Understanding the nature, admissibility, weight, and burden of proof associated with audit evidence is crucial for internal auditors to perform their duties effectively and with a high degree of professionalism. v. OBJECTIVE This seminar will cover the following key objectives: Defining Audit Evidence: Understanding the different types of audit evidence, including documentary evidence, physical evidence, and testimonial evidence. Admissibility of Audit Evidence: Exploring the legal and regulatory frameworks governing the admissibility of evidence in audit contexts, including relevant case studies. Weight of Audit Evidence: Analyzing the factors that influence the weight or persuasiveness of different types of evidence, such as reliability, relevance, and sufficiency. Burden of Proof: Examining the concept of burden of proof in audit investigations and how it applies to different types of audits. Case Studies: Analyzing real-world case studies to illustrate the practical application of the principles discussed, highlighting best practices and potential pitfalls. VI. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPPLIER/VENUE: • Two-day AM pack snacks, Two-day PM pack snacks and Two-day Pack Lunch • Must be able to provide the food in a presentable container; • Menu for AM snacks should include pasta and sandwiches, water, juices or soda; Vil.
