The Municipality of Esperanza, through the Municipal Fund apply the sum of Seven Hundred Two Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-Two Pesos (702,332.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Rehabilitation of Esperanza Water Treatment Plant Multi Media Filters /Contract ID No. ESP-INFRA-27-2024 at Sitio Tagpulangao, Barangay Hawilian, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The Municipality of Esperanza, now invites bids for the project Rehabilitation of Esperanza Water Treatment Plant Multi Media Filters at Sitio Tagpulangao, Barangay Hawilian, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur. Completion of the Works is required by 90 calendar days. Bidders should have completed a single contract similar to the contract to be bid. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184). 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Bids and Awards Committee of the Municipality of Esperanza and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Mondays to Fridays. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders from October 3–October 28, 2024 from 8:30am to 4:30pm and on October 29, 2024 from 8:30am to 9:30am from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the bidding documents in the amount of One Thousand Pesos (Php1,000.00). Bidder’s representative must present Special Power of Attorney (SPA) to the BAC Secretariat before payment of non- refundable bidding documents. The Procuring Entity shall allow the bidder to present its proof of payment for the fees upon submission of their bids. 6. The Municipality of Esperanza will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on October 15, 2024 at 10:00a.m. at the Bids & Awards Committee Office, MENR Office, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur or through videoconferencing via messenger app which shall be open to all prospective bidders. 7.
