The Barangay Government of Barangay Tabora, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Cavite, intends to apply the sum of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (P 120,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Painting of New Multi-Purpose Hall located at Barangay Tabora, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Cavite Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at Bid opening. 2. The Barangay Government of Barangay Tabora, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Cavite now invites interested Bidders to Apply for Eligibility and to Bid, if eligible, for the Painting of New Multi-Purpose Hall located at Barangay Tabora, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Cavite. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in Section II of the Bidding Documents, ITB. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criteria as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations Part A (IRR-A) of Republic Act No. 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the Government Procurement Act, and is restricted to organization with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, as specified in Republic Act 5183 (R.A 5183). Only Bids from Bidders who pass the eligibility check will be opened. The process for the eligibility check is described in Section II of the Bidding Documents, ITB. The bidder with the lowest calculated bid (LCB) shall advance to the post-qualification stage in order to finally determine his responsiveness to the technical and financial requirements of the project. The contract shall then be awarded to the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bidder (LCRB) who was determined as such during the post-qualification procedure. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information form Barangay Government of Barangay Tabora, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Cavite and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below (2nd page) from October 15 – October 28, 2024. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of Five Hundred Pesos (P500.00). The Bidding Documents shall be received personally by the prospective Bidder or his authorized representative. 6. Bids and eligibility requirements must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 am on October 28, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB. Late Bids shall not be accepted. 7. Bid opening shall be on October 28, 2024, 10:00 am, Barangay Hall, Barangay Tabora, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Cavite. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidder’s representatives who chose to attend. 8. The method of payment will be through check upon presentment of appropriate documentations, invoices and vouchers. 9. Request for clarifications must be submitted at least Ten (10) days before the scheduled Bid Opening. 10. The Barangay Government of Barangay Tabora, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Cavite reserved the rights to waive any formality in the responses to the eligibility requirements and to this invitation. Barangay Government of Barangay Tabora further reserved the right to accept or reject any Bid and shall proposals, and to annul the bidding process and reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, and makes no assurance that a contract shall be entered into contract as a result of his invitation without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
