Provide for FREE the following equipment: 1a. One (1) unit of fully automated bench-top IHC machine for processing of surgical pathology specimens intended for immunohistochemistry. Other attributes of the equipment shall include: - Walk away system; acceptable maximum turn around (e.g. around 4 hours). - Low dispense and waste volume technology. - Capable of batch and multiparameter processing - Digital temperature display. - Acceptable precision and accuracy as set by manufacturer or international standards; precision and accuracy to be determined by equipment performance verification or validation conducted in conjunction with laboratory staff employing acceptable method. - Dimension of machine shall fit in to allotted space in the Histopathology Section. - Preferably brand new, but equipment not more than 3 years old is acceptable 1b. Compatible UPS for IHC machine. 1c. Preferably with corresponding computer hardware’s. 2. Provide for FREE the installation, regular preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment; replacement of parts or units duly coordinated with concerned laboratory staff and EFM personnel. 3. Provide for FREE the training and re-training of laboratory staff to make them competent to operate the equipment. 4. Has the capacity to upgrade the equipment provided when necessary or when need arises upon request by the end user without additional cost to procured reagents. 5. The MOA shall cover a period of 6 months with added stipulation for extended use of machine for free in case the IHC reagents are not consumed within 6 months. 6. Ensure compliance with scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment. 7. Ensure prompt response by designate engineer/s within 48 hours for correction of equipment failure or malfunction. 8. Reimburse all examination that are sent out related to equipment failure or malfunction. 9. Replenish consumed IHC reagent and related supplies incidental to repeated test runs due to equipment failure, malfunction or trial runs during training/ re-training. 10. Assures replacement of unused reagents and consumables with 1-month remaining shelf life before the expiration date. 11. Provide for free IHC reagents and related supplies and service assistance for equipment performance verification or validation. 12. The product carried is covered by a current Certificate of Product Registration or, in the absence of the former proof of renewal or updated Certificate of Exemption issued by Philippines FDA. 13. Manufacturing of reagent and equipment are covered by relevant ISO certification or quality of similar nature. 14. Supplier/distributor is preferably, by not necessarily, ISO 9001; 2015 certified. 15. The supplier must already have functioning installation equipment and it’s accessories in the Philippines to prove that it has experience to provide fast and efficient service calls for the said equipment. 16. The supplier must be the exclusive or authorized distributor of the principal company of the equipment. Supplier must provide certificate of distributor from the unit manufacturer mentioning the name of the Philippines representative. 17. Allowed staggered or delivery upon request. 18. Provide updated Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for chemical reagents upon delivery of the items.
