The Municipal Government of Naujan - Bids & Awards Committee, through 2024 Supplemental Budget No. 2 intends to apply the sum of FOUR HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY SIX AND 52/100 (P498,996.52) ONLY being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Repair and Maintenance of Mena G. Valencia Gymnasium Comfort Room, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro / MGN-INFRA 2024-028. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The Municipal Government of Naujan- Bids & Awards Committee now invites bids for Improvement of Male and PWD Comfort Room, Removal of existing tiles and ceiling. Installation of ceiling, tiles, bricks, railings, and plumbing fixtures. Electrical works and plumbing works. Completion of the Works is required 29 calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project equivalent to 50% of the contract to be bid, provided that, contractors without similar contact, provision under Section 23.4.2.4 of the Revised IRR will apply. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II, Instructions to Bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Municipal Government of Naujan- Bids & Awards Committee, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during Monday to Friday, from 8:00am- 5:00pm. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders on October 17, 2024 from given address and website/s below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Five Hundred Pesos Only (500.00). Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat through manual submission at the office address as indicated below on or before 1:30 pm., October 31, 2024 at the Bids & Awards Committee, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro. Late bids shall not be accepted. 7. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 15. 8. Bid opening shall be on October 31, 2024, 1:30 pm at the given address below. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the activity. 9. The bidders’ representative shall submit proof of identification (I.D.), Special Power of Attorney (SPA) to represent duly signed principal, and observe the required minimum health standards as provided by the relevant guidelines of the Department of Health DOH). 10. The Municipal Government of Naujan- Bids & Awards Committee reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Sections 35.6 and 41 of the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA No. 9184, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders. 11.
