The LOCAL WATER UTILITIES ADMINISTRATION has received a Loan from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of the Water District Development Sector Project (WDDSP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for the Bidding - Proposed Replacement of 400mmØ (16”Ø) Steel Pipe Transmission Line with 400mmØ (16”Ø) Ductile Iron Pipe along National Highway from Brgy. Tambak to Brgy. Awang (Tanuel Pumping Station - Discom Village Section), Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao Del Norte. 2. The Metro Cotabato Water District (MCWD) now invites bids for the Bidding - Proposed Replacement of 400mmØ (16”Ø) Steel Pipe Transmission Line with 400mmØ 16”Ø Ductile Iron Pipe along National Highway from Brgy. Tambak to Brgy. Awang (Tanuel Pumping Station - Discom Village Section), Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao Del Norte. Completion of the Works is required within two hundred fifteen (215) calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Sub-section 5 of Section II. Instructions to Bidders and the corresponding Bid Data Sheet. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with relevant procedures for open competitive bidding as specified in the IRR of Republic Act 9184, with some amendments, as stated in these bidding documents and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the applicable procurement guidelines of ADB. The contract shall be awarded to the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bidder (LCRB) who was determined as such during post-qualification. The approved budget for the contract (ABC) is PhP113,598,344.99. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the MCWD Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except during weekends and non-working holidays. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by the interested bidders on 3rd of October 2024 but before 2:00 p.m. of 30th of October 2024 at the Procurement Section of MCWD located at the address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the bidding documents, in the amount of Twenty-five Thousand Pesos (PhP25,000.00). Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below on or before 2:00 p.m. on 30th of October 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of not less than PhP2,271,966.90 in cash, cashier’s/manager’s check, bank draft/guarantee or irrevocable letter of credit.
