Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. The BLGU Barangay 88 San Jose Tacloban City now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required 56 Calendar Days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders). Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. Interested bidders may obtain further information from BLGU Barangay 88 San Jose, Tacloban City and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Eight O’clock in the Morning (8:00 AM) to Five O’clock in the Afternoon (5:00 PM). A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders on October 9, 2024 (Wednesday) to October 29, 2024 (Tuesday) from given address and website/s below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Twenty Five Thousand Pesos (Php 25,000.00). Minimum manpower requirement: Form works, rebar works, concrete works, and masonry works. Four(4) Groups, each group shall have a minimum number of workers stated below: Four (4) - Mason/Steelman Two (2) - Carpenters Twelve (12) - Laborers For Steel Works(Trusses) Four(4) Groups, each group shall have a minimum number of workers stated below: Four(4) - Steelman Four(4) - Laborers For other scope of works shall be at Bidders/Contractors discretion. Shifting of Groups(manpower) shall be considered in preparation of a detailed proposal. Recommended shifting schedule as stated below: 1st shift of manpower shall be from 6;00AM - 2:00PM 2nd shift of manpower shall be from 2:00PM - 10;00PM 3rd shift of manpower shall be at Contractors discretion. As part of the KALAHI CIDSS Program requirement, women in paid labor shall be considered.
