Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. The Municipal Government of Ibaan, Batangas, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), now invites bids for the Purchase of Medical Equipment, Municipal Health Office, Municipality of Ibaan, Batangas. Completion of the services required is sixty (60) calendar day. Bidders should have completed within two (2) years, a contract similar to the Project with an amount of at least 50% from the date of submission and receipt of bids. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Act”. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, organizations with at least sixty (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the Office of the Municipal BAC Secretariat, Office of the Municipal Engineer, Ibaan, Batangas and inspect the bidding documents at the Office of the BAC Secretariat, Office of the Municipal Engineer, Ibaan, Batangas from 9:00am to 3:00pm. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by the interested parties from November 6, 2024 to November 20, 2024, at the Office of the BAC Secretariat, Office of the Municipal Engineer, Ibaan, Batangas and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the bidding documents in the amount to be determined by the BAC Secretariat, Office of the Municipal Engineer, Ibaan, Batangas to the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, Ibaan, Batangas. Bids must be submitted to the Office of the BAC Secretariat, Office of the Municipal Engineer, Ibaan, Batangas on or before 10 a.m. November 20, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
