The Local Government Unit of Juban in the amount of SIX HUNDRED FIFTY EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR PESOS (PhP658,424.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the FURNISHING & DELIVERY OF MATERIALS (GOODS) for the IMPROVEMENT OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER, at Brgy Taboc, Juban, Sorsogon. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the bid opening. 2. The Local Government Unit of Juban now invites bids for the FURNISHING & DELIVERY OF MATERIALS (GOODS) for the IMPROVEMENT OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER at Brgy Taboc, Juban, Sorsogon. Delivery of the labor, materials & equipment is required within 60 calendar days upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed, within 1 year from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184),otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from LGU - Juban and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during Mondays - Wednesday 8:00AM – 5:00 PM. 5. Representatives of prospective bidders who intends to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) and purchase bid documents must present a duly notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) specific to the above stated project and a photocopy of their PCAB License and Updated ARC. NO REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT MORE THAN ONE BIDDER. 6. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable amount to the Office of the Municipal Treasurer for the Bidding Documents in the amount of ONE THOUSAND PESOS (PhP1,000.00). 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 16, 2024 (Wednesday) at 9:00 AM. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in BDS. Bid opening shall be on October 16, 2024 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM in the morning at the Office of the Bids and Awards Committee, Juban, Sorsogon. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ or its authorized representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted. 8. The Local Government Unit of Juban, Sorsogon reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
