The rescinded contract may be re-awarded to the next lowest calculated and responsive bidder. 12 WARRANTY. To assure that manufacturing defects are corrected by supplier, a warranty security shall be required for a minimum of three (3) months for Expendable Supplies, and one (1) year in the case of Non-expendable Supplies. The obligation shall be covered by retention money(1%) of the contract price and shall be released only after the lapse of the warranty period or in the case of Expendable Supplies, after consumption thereof: Provided, however, That the supplies delivered are free from patent and latent defects and all the conditions imposed under the contract have been fully met.
