The BARANGAY CALAJOAN, MINGLANILLA, CEBU, through the LOCAL FUND intends to apply the sum of ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED NINETEEN PESOS AND NINETY EIGHT CENTAVOS (P 1,275,419.98) being the Approved Budget for Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The BARANGAY CALAJOAN, MINGLANILLA, CEBU now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required within SIXTY (60) calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II(Instructions to Bidders). 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. 4. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from Office of the BAC, BARANGAY HALL OFFICE OF BARANGAY CALAJO-AN, MINGLANILLA, CEBU and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours from Monday to Friday at 8:00AMto 5:00PM. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on JULY 17, 2024 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM (Mondays to Fridays only) from the given address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos (Php5,000.00). The Bidding Documents may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), provided that Bidders shall pay the nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids. 6. The -BARANGAY CALAJOAN, MINGLANILLA, CEBU will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on JULY 18, 2024, Monday at BAC, BARANGAY HALL OFFICE OF BARANGAY CALAJO-AN, MINGLANILLA, CEBU at 10:00 AM which shall be open to prospective bidders. 7. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat through manual submission by dropping in the box located at the BAC Secretariat on or before JULY 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the morning. Late bids shall not be accepted. 8. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 14. 9. Bid opening shall be on JULY 30, 2024, Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the given address below. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the activity. 10. The BARANGAY CALAJOAN, MINGLANILLA, CEBU reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Sections35.6 and 41 of the 2016revised IRR of RA No. 9184, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders. 11.
