(For details please visit the BAC at the Municipal Bids and Awards Committee Office, Municipal Ground, Culob, Hingyon, Ifugao with Contact No. 09061199128.) Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically be rejected at Bid opening. Should documents be submitted by representative, said representative must present a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) or a Letter of Authorization duly signed by the owner of the Firm authorizing the same as representative. Bid documents shall be available at the Bids and Awards Committee Office, Hingyon, Ifugao for issuance to interested bidders during office hours starting on October 23 to 31, 2024 upon payment of a non-refundable fee equivalent to the standard rates in accordance to Appendix 8 of the IRR of RA 9184, guidelines on the sale of bidding documents. Deadline for the submission and receipt of bidding documents and dropping of bids is on or before October 31, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Municipal Bids and Awards Committee Office and at 10:30 A.M. said bid documents will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Bidders shall submit a Bid Securing Declaration or any form of Bid Security in the amount stated in the BDS, which shall be not less than the percentage of the ABC in accordance with the following schedule: Form of Bid Security Amount of Bid Security (Not less than the Percentage of the ABC) (a) Cash or cashier’s/manager’s check issued by a Universal or Commercial Bank. For biddings conducted by LGUs, the cashier’s/manager’s check may be issued by other banks certified by the BSP as authorized to issue such financial instrument. Two percent (2%) (b) Bank draft/guarantee or irrevocable letter of credit issued by a Universal or Commercial Bank: Provided, however, that it shall be confirmed or authenticated by a Universal or Commercial Bank, if issued by a foreign bank.
