The Barangay Alasasin now invites bids for the above-captioned package. Mobilization of the project is required within 2 days after the receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed the project within 10 days after its first day of mobilization. Bidders should have completed the same contract within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in section II, Instruction to Bidders. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Act”. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizen, sole proprietorship, partnership, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Office of the BAC at Barangay Alasasin, Mariveles, Bataan and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. A complete set of bidding documents maybe availed by interested bidders starting OCTOBER 14, 2024 at the Office of the Barangay Secretary. Bids must be delivered to the Office of the Barangay Secretary on or before 10:00am of OCTOBER 29, 2024 using the time clock in that office as the official time of the Barangay. All prospective bidders are advised to strictly observe the official time submission. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms stated in ITB clause. Bid opening shall be on 10:00am, OCTOBER 29, 2024 at the Office of the BAC, Alasasin, Mariveles, Bataan.
