Background and Objectives In line with the Department of Tourism-s mandate on Local Tourism Development Planning as indicted in the Republic Act 9593 Sections 35-37, the Department of Tourism Regional Office 1 has allotted its resources to provide technical assistance in the preparation and monitoring of local tourism development plans of some selected municipalities in the region to ensure the integration and alignment to local and national plans for tourism development.
