The Municipal Government of Candelaria, Zambales, through the 5% Capital Outlay (2024) and CY 2023 5% Continuing Appropriation Fund of Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (LDRRMO) of LGU-Candelaria, Zambales intends to apply the sum of Seven Hundred Sixty-Two Thousand Forty Pesos (Php.762,040.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments for the hereunder project. Purchase of Disaster Response and Rescue Equipment Delivery Period: 15 c.d. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically be rejected at the bid opening. 2. The Municipal Government of Candelaria, Zambales now invites bids for the above-cited procurements. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly in Section II. Instructions to Bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act". 4. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorship, or organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privilege to Filipino citizens, pursuant to R.A. 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138. 5. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Bids and Awards Committee of Municipal Government of Candelaria, Zambales and inspect the bidding documents at the BAC Office of LGU-Candelaria, Zambales from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. 6.
