The Mines and Geosciences Bureau - CAR (MGB-CAR), as the Procuring Entity, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), intends to apply the sum of Three Hundred Fifty Four Thousand Two Hundred Sixty Five Pesos (Php 354,265.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of ICT Equipments and Communication Device for MGB-CAR to be made in the MGB-CAR office as specified. Quotations received more than the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the opening of price quotations. 2. The MGB-CAR-BAC now Requests for Quotation (RFQ) of ICT Equipments and Communication Device for MGB-CAR at the MGB-CAR office address 80 Diego Silang St., Baguio City. The Contractor must provide their BIR Certificate of Registration, PhilGEPS Registration number, Income/Business Tax Return and Omnibus Sworn Statement together with the RFQ. 3. The procurement of contractor for the ICT Equipments and Communication Device for MGB-CAR will be conducted based on Section 53.9. Small Value Procurement of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (RIRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184. 4. The submission of RFQ is open to all interested Contractors, whether local or foreign, subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the RIRR of RA 9184. 5. Interested Contractors may obtain further information from MGB-CAR-BAC Secretariat at the 1st Floor, Mines and Geosciences Bureau Office, 80 Diego Silang St., Baguio City, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. starting 23 October 2024 or at telephone number 442-6392. The RFQ may be obtained starting 23 October 2024 from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from the MGB-CAR-BAC Secretariat, Mines and Geosciences Bureau Office, 80 Diego Silang St., Baguio City. The RFQ may also be downloaded from the websites of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and MGB-CAR website. 6. The accomplished RFQ must be delivered on or before 9:00 a.m. on 28 October 2024 to the MGB-CAR-BAC Secretariat, Mines and Geosciences Bureau Office, 80 Diego Silang St., Baguio City. The contract will be awarded to the contractor whose price quotation is the most advantageous and responsive to the requirements of Procuring Entity, in accordance with Procuring Entity’s judgment and discretion. Procuring Entity shall not be bound to accept the lowest or any price quotation, which, in its judgment is, not advantageous to the government. The MGB-CAR-BAC shall not compensate or indemnify any person for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the price quotations.8. Moreover, the MGB-CAR-BAC reserves the right to accept or reject any price quotation, waive any formality in the RFQ, annul the procurement process, reject any or all price quotations at any time prior to contract award, declare the procurement process a failure, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Participating Service Provider or any person. 9.
