Bids received that exceed the ABC per project shall be rejected at bid opening. The City Government of Danao now invites potential Bidders to apply for eligibility for the Infrastructure Projects: Project Location ABC Source of Fund 1. Submission and Receipts of Bids - November 05, 2024 at 1:30p.m BAC Office Prospective Bidders for the above-mentioned works are now being invited. Interested bidders must have an experience of ten (years) in the business and of having completed at least one (1) contract similar to the contract to be bid, and whose value, adjusted to current prices using the NSO consumer price indices, must be at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC to be bid. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II, Instructions to Bidders. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using the relevant non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. The bidding documents may be inspected or purchased at the BAC Office, Danao City Hall, Danao City, Cebu upon accomplishing a bidder’s information sheet and payment of the corresponding fees. Only bidders who purchased the Bidding Documents will be allowed to submit bids. It may be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), www.philgeps.gov.ph, provided that bidders shall pay the fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of bids. Prospective Bidders are strongly encouraged to order or download the electronic copy of the Bidding Documents from the PhilGEPS website: www.philgeps.gov.ph, for them to be included in the Document Request List of the projects. Bids must be delivered to the address and on the date and time stated above. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in the corresponding ITB Clause 18. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the opening of bids at the address stated. Late bids shall not be accepted. The City Government of Danao reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, not award the contract(s), or annul the bidding process without incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
