MacArthur, Eastern Samar. 1. The Municipality of Gen. MacArthur, through the MOOE (LDRRM) CY 2024 intends to apply the sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos Only (Php 150,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Repair and Maintenance of MDRRMO Building and Structure at Municipal Compound, Barangay 05, Poblacion, Gen. MacArthur, Eastern Samar. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The Municipality of Gen. MacArthur, Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) will conduct the bidding for the abovementioned project. Completion of works is twenty-eight (28) calendar days. The prospective Bidders must have an experience of having completed at least one (1) contract that is similar to the contract to be bid and whose value, adjusted to current prices using the NSO consumer price indices, must be at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC to be bid, within five (5 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section 11 Instruction to Bidders. 3.Bidding will be conducted by the Municipality of Gen. MacArthur, BAC through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, as amended, otherwise known as the "Government Procurement Reform Act". 4. Bidding is restricted to Filipino Citizens/sole proprietorships, partnership, or organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interest of outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines. 5. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Municipality Gen. MacArthur, BAC Secretariat and inspect the Bidding documents during office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). 6. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee in the amount of Five Hundred Pesos Only (Php 500.000). 7. The Municipality of Gen. MacArthur will hold Pre- Bid Conference on October 11, 2024 @ 10:30a.m. at the Procurement Office, Municipal Hall, Gen. MacArthur, Eastern Samar, which shall be open to all interested parties who have purchased the Bidding documents. 8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 23, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the Procurement Office, Municipal Hall, Gen. MacArthur, Eastern Samar. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted. 9. The Municipality of Gen.
