(For details please visit the BAC at the Municipal Engineering Office, Municipal Ground, Culob, Hingyon, Ifugao with Contact No. 09061199128.) Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically be rejected at Bid opening. Should documents be submitted by representative, said representative must present a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) or a Letter of Authorization duly signed by the owner of the Firm authorizing the same as representative. The Letter of Intent (LOI) must be submitted in three copies and must be marked “RECEIVED” by any member of the BAC before the issuance of bid documents. Bid documents shall be available at the Budget Office, Hingyon, Ifugao for issuance to interested bidders during office hours starting on July 1 to 8, 2024 upon payment of a non-refundable fee equivalent to ½ of 1% of the Approved Budget for the Contract. Deadline for the submission and receipt of pre-qualification documents and dropping of bids is on or before June 8, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at the Municipal Budget Office and at 3:30 P.M. said bid documents will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Bidders shall submit a Bid Securing Declaration or any form of Bid Security in the amount stated in the BDS, which shall be not less than the percentage of the ABC in accordance with the following schedule: Form of Bid Security Amount of Bid Security (Not less than the Percentage of the ABC) (a) Cash or cashier’s/manager’s check issued by a Universal or Commercial Bank. For biddings conducted by LGUs, the cashier’s/manager’s check may be issued by other banks certified by the BSP as authorized to issue such financial instrument. Two percent (2%) (b) Bank draft/guarantee or irrevocable letter of credit issued by a Universal or Commercial Bank: Provided, however, that it shall be confirmed or authenticated by a Universal or Commercial Bank, if issued by a foreign bank. For biddings conducted by LGUs, the Bank Draft/ Guarantee, or irrevocable letter of credit may be issued by other banks certified by the BSP as authorized to issue such financial instrument. (c) Surety bond callable upon demand issued by a surety or insurance company duly certified by the Insurance Commission as authorized to issue such security. Five percent (5%) RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations shall govern all particulars relative to this invitation. The Municipal Government of Hingyon reserves the right to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
