JOSE ENRIQUE M. MIRAFLORES The Barangay Government of Napatag, Tangalan, Aklan through the FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM: HON. JOSE ENRIQUE M. MIRAFLORES intends to apply the sum of TWO HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE PESOS (PHP 206,985.00) ONLY being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the CONSTRUCTION/IMPROVEMENT OF NAPATAG MULTI-PURPOSE HALL (MATERIALS ONLY) in Napatag, Tangalan, Aklan. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. The Municipal Government of Tangalan, Aklan now invites bids for the supply and delivery for CONSTRUCTION/IMPROVEMENT OF NAPATAG MULTI-PURPOSE HALL (MATERIALS ONLY) in Napatag, Tangalan, Aklan. Completion of the Works is required within 30 Calendar Days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed, within one (1) year from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat, Municipality of Tangalan, Aklan and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours (8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday). A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on October 9, 2024 to October 29, 2024 from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Hundred (Php 500.00) Pesos Only. It may also downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), provided that the bidders shall pay the fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 29, 2024 at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon at Mayor’s Hall, Municipal Building, Poblacion, Tangalan, Aklan. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms either in, a) cash, cashier’s/manager’s check, and bank guarantee equivalent of 2% of ABC, or b) Surety Bond issued by surety or insurance company duly authorized by Insurance Commission equivalent to 5% of ABC, or c) Bid Securing Declaration.
