The Department of Agriculture, Regional Field Office IX, through the LIVESTOCK PROGRAM 2024 intends to apply the sum of: • ONE MILLION ONE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND PESOS (₱1,160,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Lot 3: CONSTRUCTION OF CARABAO SHED in Brgy. Tangarak, Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte • ONE MILLION PESOS (₱1,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Lot 9: CONSTRUCTION OF GOAT SHED in New Salvacion, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte • ONE MILLION PESOS (₱1,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Lot 10: CONSTRUCTION OF GOAT SHED in Merloquet, Sibulao, Zamboanga City Bids received in excess of the ABC for each lot shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The Department of Agriculture, Regional Field Office IX now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required within Lot 3: 53 Calendar Days Lot 9: 48 Calendar Days Lot 10: 48 Calendar Days Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders). 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. 4. Bid opening shall be on November 12, 2024, 9:30am. at the given address below. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the activity. 10. In case of a tie Bid, the BAC will conduct the Guidelines on the Use of Non-Discretionary/Non-Discriminatory Selection criteria as Tie-Breaking Method in case of two or more Bidders are determined and declared as the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bidder (LCRB) (GPPB CIRCULAR NO. 06-2005). 11.
