Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. The CITY GOVERNMENT OF OROQUIETA now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Please Indicate Brand. Delivery of goods is required at 30 CALENDAR DAYS. Bidders should have completed, within Three (3) years prior to the date of submission and receipt of bids, a single contract that is similar to this Project, equivalent to at least twenty five percent (25%) of the ABC or should have completed at least two (2) similar contracts which aggregate contract amounts should be equivalent to at least the percentage of the ABC as required above; and the largest of these similar contracts must be equivalent to at least half of the percentage of the ABC, as required above. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instruction to Bidders). Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA No. 5183. Prospective Bidders may obtain further information from the City Government of Oroquieta and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The CITY GOVERNMENT OF OROQUIETA will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on July 15, 2024, 2024 at 9:30 A.M. at CEO Conference Room, CEO Compound, Upper Langcangan, Oroquieta City and/or through video conferencing via Google Meet, which shall be open to prospective bidders but attendance is not mandatory. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat through manual submission at the office of the City General Services, Port Area Canubay, Oroquieta City on or before July 29, 2024 at 9:30 A.M. Late bids shall not be accepted. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 14.
