The Provincial Government of Davao Oriental through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) intends to apply the sum of FOUR MILLION TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (Php4,225,000.00) being the Approved Budget for Contract (ABC) payments under the contract for Procurement of FEMALE GOATS (DOE) AND MALE GOATS (BUCK) for Goat Enterprise Project in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantage Areas (GIDA) of Davao Oriental. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at Bid opening. 2. The Provincial Government of Davao Oriental now invites bids for the Procurement of FEMALE GOATS (DOE) AND MALE GOATS (BUCK) for Goat Enterprise Project in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantage Areas (GIDA) of Davao Oriental. Delivery of the goods is within 7 Calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly in Section II- Instruction to Bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. 4. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from BAC Secretariat and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on June 11 - July 1, 2024 from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (Php5,000.00) 6. The Provincial Government of Davao Oriental thru its BAC will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on June 20, 2024 at 10:00am at the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Conference Room, Provincial Capitol Mansion, Capitol Hill, City of Mati, Davao Oriental. 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before July 2, 2024- 2:00pm. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18. Form of Bid Security - Cash or cashier’s/manager’s check issued by a Universal or Commercial Bank (2% of ABC) Minimum Amount - Php84,500.00 Form of Bid Security - Bank draft/guarantee or irrevocable letter of credit issued by a Universal or Commercial Bank.
