INVITATION TO BID IMPROVEMENT OF GRANDSTAND AT MALVAR SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL PARK AT POBLACION MALVAR BATANGAS 1. The Municipality of Malvar through the Appropriation Ordinance No. 003-09 dated September 23, 2024 Series of 2024 as General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 3 CY 2024 intends to apply the sum of One Million Thirty Thousand Pesos (P 1,030,000.00) being the ABC to payments under the contract for the IMPROVEMENT OF GRANDSTAND AT MALVAR SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL PARK AT POBLACION MALVAR BATANGAS with Solicitation Number I-102024-009835. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The Municipality of Malvar now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required within 90 calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders). 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. 4. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from Municipality of Malvar and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours (8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M). 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on October 14, 2024 to November 5, 2024 from the given address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Five Thousand (P 5,000.00) Pesos. The Procuring Entity shall allow the bidder to present its proof of payment for the fees if it will be presented in person or through electronic means. 6. The Municipality of Malvar will hold a pre-bid conference on October 21, 2024, 9:00 am at Bids and Award Committee Office Malvar Municipal Hall San Pioquinto, Malvar Batangas which shall be open to prospective bidders. 7.
