The Barangay Local Government Unit of Calao, Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon now invites bids for the procurement of materials, delivery and installation for the Improvement of Public Address System, with the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) amounting of One Hundred Thousand pesos (PHP 100,000.00). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instruction to Bidders. 3.Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. 4. Representatives of prospective bidders who intends to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) and purchase bid documents must present a duly notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) specific to the above stated project and a photocopy of their PCAB License and Updated ARC. . NO REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT MORE THAN ONE BIDDER. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders during the Pre-Bid Conference, and upon payment of a none-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Hundred pesos (PHP 500.00). 6. The Barangay Government of Calao, Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon, Philippines will hold the pre-bid conference at 7:00 o’clock in the morning on November 1, 2024 at the Barangay Multi-Purpose Hall of Barangay Calao, Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon, which shall be open to prospective bidders. 7. Bids will be opened at November 8, 2024 at 7:00 o’clock in the morning in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the Barangay Multi-Purpose Hall of Barangay Calao, Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause. Late bids shall not be accepted. 10.The Local Government Unit of Barangay Calao, Prieto Diaz, Sorosogon reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
