For winning bidders,performance security shall be required to guarantee the faithful performance upon signing the contracts it maybe 5% of the contract prices on a form of Cash/Manager’s Check or 30% GSIS Bond. 2.) Retention in the amount equivalent to at least 10% of every progress payment made or special bank guarantee equivalent to at least 10% of the total contract price.The said amount shall be released only after the lapse of the warranty period,3 ,months in case of supplies and 1year in the case of purchase of equipment. 3.) All particulars relative to pre-qualifications,biddings,evaluation of bids and awards of contracts shall be governed by the provision of RA 9184 and other rules regulation as maybe applicable. 4.)
