The METRO LIPA WATER DISTRICT (MLWD) through its approved Corporate Budget, intends to apply the sum of TWO MILLION SEVENTEEN THOUSAND PESOS (P 2,017,000.00), being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF VARIOUS SLEEVE TYPE COUPLING under Purchase Request Number 18811. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The MLWD now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Delivery of Goods Thirty (30) Calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within Five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders). 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a nondiscretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183. 4. Prospective Bidders may obtain further information from MLWD and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below starting from 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders from July 04, 2024 during office hours from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday until July 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Two Thousand Pesos (P2,000.00). It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and at MLWD, http://www.metrolipawd.gov.ph, provided that Bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids. Bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids in any of the following payment options; Over the counter payment at MLWD Main Office , Brgy. The Metro Lipa Water District (MLWD) will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on July 11, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Metro Lipa Water District, which shall be open to prospective bidders. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below on or before July 25, 2024 at 11:00AM.
