The Department of Education (DepED), DIVISION OF GUIHULNGAN CITY, through the CY 2024 Disaster Preparedness and Response Program, intends to apply the sum of One Million, Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Pesos Only (PhP 1,260,000.00), broken down as follows: LOT NO. PROJECT DESCRIPTION LOCATION ABC (PHP) 4 Construction of One(1) Classroom Temporary Learning Space Agulang Elementary School PhP 540,000.00 Construction of Three(3) Classroom Temporary Learning Space Lip-o Elementary School PhP 540,000.00 Construction of Three(3) Classroom Temporary Learning Space Binobohan National High School PhP 180,000.00 TOTAL PhP 1,260,000.00 being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for each lot. Bids received in excess of the ABC for each lot shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The DepEd Division of Guihulngan City, through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required within the contract period herein indicated below. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders). Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. 4. DepEd, Division of Guihulngan City will hold a pre-bid conference for this Project on October 21, 2024, 10:00 A.M., which shall be open to prospective bidders. Section 22.3 of R.A. 9184 and its IRR provide that Pre-Bid Conference may be conducted in person or face-to-face, at the Office of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent. The Pre-Bid Conference is open to prospective bidders, and in case of procurement of consulting services, the shortlisted bidder, but attendance shall not be mandatory. Prospective Bidders who intend to participate are required to communicate with the BAC Secretariat through email at guihulngan.city@deped.gov.ph their confirmation on or before October 21, 10:00 A.M. Furthermore, interested bidders shall visit the school site for actual inspection and a picture with the school signage, and must secure certificate of appearance duly signed by the School Head or any authorized school personnel to be submitted upon the Opening of Bids. Upon receipt, the BAC Secretariat Division will send the link of the meeting. 7. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below on or before November 4, 2024 10:00 AM.
