Operation of International Food Chain Outlets in the Departure Transit Area at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, Sri Lanka Tenders are invited for Operation of International Food Chain Outlets in the Departure Transit Area at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, Sri Lanka for a period of three (03) years. There are four (04) Spaces available for bidding and bids may be submitted for one or more spaces. However, allocation of more than one space to a single bidder shall be considered only if separate brands are offered. The Company will not consider any Operator who operates more than One Shop at the Departure Transit Area at BIA. Katunayake and no operator shall be allowed to operate more than two shops at Departure Transit Area even after this Tender. Terms and conditions and other details applicable will be issued with the Bidding Documents. Bidding Documents may be obtained on working days from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. from 28th June 2024 upto 12th August 2024 from the office of Commercial Properties Division, Room No.37, 2nd Floor, Passenger Terminal Building, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, Sri Lanka on payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 295.00 per set in cash with a request letter on a letterhead of the Bidder. Bidding Document could also be purchased from the web site of Airport Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited [AASL] www.airport.lk by the bidder making a non-refundable fee of USD 295.00 through online payment. Bidding Document will be available for inspection, free of charge at the office of Head of Commercial Properties of Airport Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, Sri Lanka. Bids should be made only on Bidding forms issued by the Company and should accompany a Bid Bond as mentioned in the Bidding Document in Cash or in the form of a Bank Draft or Bank Guarantee issued by a commercial bank or Licensed Specialized Bank operating in Sri Lanka and approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, valid for 150 days from the date of opening of Bids (effective from 13th August 2024). A Pre Bid Briefing followed by a visit to the location will be conducted at 10.00 a.m. on 23rd July 2024 at BIA. Bidders or their duly authorized representatives may be present at the Pre Bid Briefing. Sealed Bids shall be addressed to the Chairman, Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee and sent by Registered Post to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation, Level 30, West Tower, World Trade Centre, Colombo 01 or should be deposited in the Tender Box placed at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation.
