Heute werden zu diesem Zweck an den Stationen Überkopfanzeiger verwendet. Diese geraten jedoch an das Ende der spezifizierten Lebensdauer. Zudem sind die Anforderungen an Kundeninformation in den letzten Jahren stark gestiegen. Die bestehenden KI-Elemente (Überkopfanzeiger) werden schrittweise durch neue Überkopfanzeigen ersetzt. Weiterhin erfolgt die zusätzliche Ausrüstung der Stationen mit Abfahrtsmonitoren und Akustikboxen für eine BehiG-konforme Fahrgastinformation. Die Ausschreibung dient der Auftragsvergabe für die Beschaffung von neuen Anzeigen (Überkopfanzeigen, Abfahrtsmonitoren) sowie Akustikboxen und der damit verbundenen Leistungen. Zusätzlich zur Beschaffung wird ein Instandhaltungsvertrag über die gesamte Lebensdauer der KI-Elemente vergeben.
