Visibility And Present Weather Sensor Description The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD) on behalf of the National Weather Service (NWS) has a requirement for Visibility Present Weather Sensor(s). The Visibility And Present Weather Sensor acquisition shall utilize the acquisition procedures in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The anticipated award shall be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The IDIQ lifecycle shall consist of a five one-year ordering periods from the date of award. The anticipated date of award is in or around July 2025. The anticipated award will go to the contractor who can successfully provide the requirement and who is determined to be the best value to the Government. This acquisition has no small business set-aside and is being solicited under full and open competition.
