Explosive Linear Actuators Description This notice is published in accordance with FAR 10.002 and 15.201(e) and isa Request for Information (RFI) only in support of market research. The Government-s intent is to identify qualified companies capable of developing andmanufacturing Explosive Linear Actuators for the Homing All Way Killer (HAWK) MissileSystem, NSN 1336-00-155-3378, Army Part Number 10669794 revision U and10183005 revision M, PSC 1336, NAICS code 336419. Performance of this effort requires the Contractor to have a complete andcomprehensive knowledge of the HAWK system, plus instant access to both currentdocumentation and future changes. Manufacturing of the HAWK Explosive LinearActuators requires a facility capable of handling and processing CLASS V explosivesand technical expertise in chemistry and explosives. This requirement is for thepurchase of new Explosive Linear Actuators unique to the HAWK Missile Systems thatare already in the field. Any interested parties must comply with the above. All information received will be usedonly for planning purposes. It shall not be considered as an Invitation for Bid, Requestfor Quotation, Request for Proposal (RFP), or as an obligation on the part of theGovernment to respond, or to acquire any products or services. Any response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No entitlement to paymentof direct costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of Contractorsubmission of responses to this RFI to the Government for use of such information. Theinformation provided may be used by the Army in developing its Acquisition Strategy,Statement of Work Statement of Objectives or Performance Specifications.
