Ifb 24-10073 Language Access Centralized Services Description : ***Notice of Intent to Award posted as of 7 1 2024.******Questions and Answers posted as of 5 30 2024.******Addendum 1 posted as of 5 30 2024.***The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is seeking a Contractor with extensive knowledge and experience providing meaningful Language Access Services (LAS) in written translation, oral translation, and oral sight interpretation for the CDPH in educational, outreach, health, programs, benefits, administrative hearings and other public health initiatives to people with limited English proficiency, non-English speaking people, deaf, deaf blind, and hard of hearing people, ensuring language is not a barrier to access of services. Provide ADA translation and document remediation based on the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including the State of California¿s minimum Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards.These services are necessary for the purpose of providing critical and consistent information to limited English proficient persons, non-English speaking Persons, deaf, deaf-blind, and hard of hearing persons. In addition, the LAS will promote and support CDPHs core values in providing equity and inclusion by ensuring equitable services to persons of all language backgrounds and cultures.
