Description This is a Solicitation notice regarding a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Subsistence Fresh Bread andBakery contract intended for servicing customers located in West Point, New York. “Offers must be sent to joseph.marchione@dla.mil and james.barr@dla.mil before 3PM Eastern Standard Time of November 08, 2024” Background: The Agency intends to issue an award and ultimately enter into one (1) Simplified Indefinite-DeliveryContract (“SIDC”) with a commercial firm to supply Fresh Bread and Bakery products to military customers in West Point, NY.1. Customers are One Group: Group 1 (West Point, NY Area).2. These include Fresh Bread and Bakery Products. The freshness requirement of the product being delivered maynot be compromised.3. The offeror-s distance from the delivery location is very important. The offeror must be capable of deliveringproduct to arrive at the delivery location the same day for emergency orders if necessary.4. Commercial standards should be used to maintain temperatures appropriate for the individual items. Bakeryproducts shall include mold inhibitors of the proper level as allowed by the FDA.
