The barge shall be licensed to carry following clean bulk petroleum products: Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8 and JA1). All interested offerors must obtain a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). DLA Energy conducts business transactions through an electronic Enterprise Business System (EBS), which must be utilized to award contracts to vendors. Contractors must register to use various on-line systems including, but not limited to, the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (https://piee.eb.mil/) Suite and the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). These registrations must be accomplished in order to be considered for award. These systems cover receiving electronic orders, invoicing, and payment/payment status. Registration for these systems is free for all users. The period of performance is September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2026, with an option year of September 1, 2026 - August 31, 2027. Approximately 1,620,000 barrels of Aviation fuel to be transported over the period of performance (45,000 barrels a month), including options.
