The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and required excavation and removal of existing 12-inch and 15-inch diameter pipes and replacing them with a 36-inch RCP in the Greenwood West Levee system. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, pipe and appurtenances installation, reinforced concrete pipe, drop inlets, bedding material, R200 riprap, turf establishment, stormwater pollution prevention, and environmental protection. This IFB will result in the award of one (1) Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Construction contract. The set-aside for this procurement is for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $45 Million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction is 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The Government intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to conduct discussion should it be deemed in the Government's best interest. The bids will be evaluated based on lowest price submitted. The official solicitation, plans and specifications will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found on the SAM System for Award Management Web Page at https://www.sam.gov. Hardcopies will not be available. Telephone and Emailed requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
