Sources Sought - Evaluation, Repair, Refurbishment, and Upgrade of the Sps- 48E Rotary Couplers Description N0016424SNC06 - Sources Sought - Evaluation, Repair, Refurbishment, and Upgrade of the SPS-48E Rotary Couplers - PSC J020 - NAICS 334511 Issue Date: 1 July 2024 - Closing Date: 15 July 2024 at 1400 EST In accordance with Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 206.302-1, the Government is issuing this RFI sources sought announcement as part of market research for evaluation, repair, refurbishment, and upgrade of the SPS-48E Rotary Couplers that provide crucial interface between stationary and rotating sections of the SPS-48E Radar System Antenna. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division located at Naval Support Activity, Crane, IN intends to award a sole source contract to Diamond Antenna and Microwave Corporation. This effort will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The basis for restricting competition is restricted proprietary technical data rights, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. In accordance with Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 206.302-1, the Government is accepting information from companies potentially capable of meeting the requirements as described above.
