Calvert County Public Schools - Windy Hill Middle School Addition of Chiller Heating and cooling and air conditioning HVAC construction and maintenance services Local Governments and Municipalities The Board of Education of Calvert County, Prince Frederick, MD, is soliciting proposals from pre-  qualified Contractors to provide bids for the Addition of Chiller at Windy Hill Middle School, 9560  Boyd’s Turn Road, Owings, Maryland 20736. Bid Documents will be made available beginning on Friday, 20 September 2024.  The Invitation for  Bids, including the bid specifications, drawings, and any addenda or clarifications to the bid  documents are posted online at eMaryland Marketplace. Please note that all bidders must be prequalified. The ITB package is free, and vendors are encouraged to download the package online from eMaryland  Marketplace.  The package can also be provided upon written request via electronic mail to Mr. Sheldon Taylor at taylors@calvertnet.k12.md.us.   Additional Instructions Certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation  notice. The contractor or supplier who provides materials, supplies, equipment and/or services for this  construction project shall attempt to achieve the specific overall MBE goal of four percent (4%)  established for this project. All prime contractors, including certified MBE firms, when submitting  bids or proposals as general or prime contractors, are required to attempt to achieve this goal  from certified MBE firms. There are no subgoals established for this project.  However, the Contractor is encouraged to use a  diverse group of subcontractors and suppliers from any and all of the various MBE classifications  to meet the overall MBE participation goal. Sealed bids will be received until 1:00 pm on Thursday, 31 October 2024.
