Overview	Intent to Sole Source Notice: Leica CM3050 S Cryostat preventative maintenance silver service plan Description This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a one (1) year base period and four (4) annual option year periods with Leica Microsystems, Inc., for preventative maintenance service plan on an existing CM3050 S Konfig. Cryostat, located in Brain Rehabilitation Research Center. This service plan will cover repair parts, labor and one (1) visit per year. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it can meet the service requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 12:00PM, EST. Please include the Interest capability statements may be sent to rachael.talbott@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
