Overview	Replace Pa-Hay-Okee Boardwalk and Platform Description SYNOPSIS: Replace Observation Tower and Boardwalk Pa-Hay-Okee OverlookTHIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Contracting Operations East, South Contracting Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to replace the boardwalk and observation platform at Pa-Hay-Okee inside Everglades National Park. The work also includes modifications to the parking lot and other associated work. Detailed specifications and construction drawings will be provided with the solicitation documents.PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on or about August 1, 2024 (the date is subject to change) and will be posted to the SAM.gov website at https: sam.gov content homeThis procurement will be 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237990- Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The small business standard is $45 million. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,00.00. TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical, past performance, and price proposal. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. Payment and Performance Bonds and Bid Guarantee will be required. The contract is expected to be awarded by September 2024. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Dade County in Florida will apply. SAM REGISTRATION: All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a HUBZone business and a small business under the identified NAICS code 237990, and NOT have any exclusion such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment.SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit is scheduled for this action.
